Veryabc.cn成立于2006年6月，是国内首家以电影为主题的英语学习网站。Veryabc Podcast 豌豆壳作为veryabc.cn的子站成立于2010年6月，是国内首家提供高品质美国电视节目PBS NewsHour, CNN Student News等的LRC英文字幕和英文字幕同步显示的节目mp4的网站。旨在通过原汁原味的节目帮助大家提高口语和听力，尽早纠正口音。

Founded in June, 2006, Veryabc.cn  is the first movie themed English learning website in China. Veryabc Podcast, the sub-website, was created in June, 2010. Again it is the first site that provides PBS NewsHour, CNN Student News with English subtitles! Although making the LRC and mp4 are time consuming, we are glad to keep up with the work. We hope our podcasts can help you improve your English speaking and listening ability, as well as your accent!

网站名字释义(Explanation to the site's Chinese name)：

Veryabc最早叫豌豆粉村，“豌豆”二字来自这里。“壳”是客的谐音，是播客的意思。所以就有了“豌豆壳”这个名字。

 Veryabc was originally called Wonderful Village. The word"豌豆" is taken from it. "壳"(shell) sounds similar to "客"(podcast) in Chinese. Thus we got the Chinese name :豌豆壳
